The following “Terms And Conditions” apply to the purchase of all products and services.
These “Terms And Conditions” are subject to change at any time without notice.
1. Copyright
All footage (containing the watermark logo on the bottom right) remains the property of “Madman Productions”.
Discs/Tapes/Files etc. are not to copied, edited, placed on the internet, played for public display or transmitted in any way without the prior written consent of “Madman Productions”. This also includes sample footage found on the website. All footage is strictly for private viewing only.
Verbal consent is not accepted. See item 2 for conditions for use on websites and promotions.
“Sydney Dragway” reserve the right to use any footage for any purpose to promote or view their product. Under a part agreement with “Sydney Dragway”, footage from any meeting/event can be used as evidence as a result from an incident or dispute. This footage may also be past onto other media sources at the discretion of “Sydney Dragway” and “Madman Productions”.
Both the “Madman Productions” logo and the “Sydney Dragway” logo are not be used and/or reproduced without permission.
Each logo remains the property of that owner.
The “Sydney Dragway” logo used by “Madman Productions” is used with permission.
2. Use of footage
The use of footage for websites and promotions may be approved with prior written consent only from “Madman Productions”.
The following conditions will apply :
a) The re-edited footage will be produced only from “Madman Productions” for a small fee.
b) The re-edited footage will contain information on “Madman Productions” such as contact details for the website.
c) This footage can only be used for the agreed usage of that footage.
d) Business cards and general information will be available on hand for people to take/view where this footage is to be televised. Cards and general information handouts available from "Madman Productions”.
3. Returns, Exchanges, Refunds And Credit
Any faulty discs, tapes etc. must be reported to “Madman Productions” within 7 days of receipt of goods.
Some DVDs may not play in some players. These must be tried in other players before an exchange can take place.
No exchange can take place if the disc/tapes are found scratched, broken, marked or damaged in any way.
Exchanges can take places at “Sydney Dragway” (via cacklingpipes), by post or in person.
“Madman Productions” is not responsible for the postage costs for returned item(s). Postage for re-sent items will be covered if the product is deemed faulty at the discretion of “Madman Productions”. This is only for items re-posted to the purchaser only.
“Madman Productions” will not make any refunds on any product or service if you change your mind once your order has been made and/or sent in the mail.
“Madman Productions” will not make any refunds if you change your mind once a “custom” order has been made and paid for.
Credit will only be issued if work has not yet been started on a custom DVD.
Credit will only be given if you change your mind on a compilation DVD providing you have not yet received the disc(s)
“Madman Productions” reserves the right to the final say in all areas.
4. Equipment and/or media failures
Whist the best efforts are made to ensure trouble free filming / recording and the production of DVDs, problems can still occur.
“Madman Productions” will not and can not be held responsible for these failures which may result from:
a) poor manufacturing from the suppliers of DVD blanks, tapes and other consumables
b) the weather which can and may effect the proper operation of equipment (from such things as temperature and humidity)
c) dirt / dust particles which can and may effect the proper operation of equipment
d) wear and tear on equipment from normal use
Any faults during the recording process which effects the outcome of footage will be notified and a discount will be applied to that part of the footage only, if accepted by both parties.
5. Standard footage format
All footage is supplied in DVD Standard Definition (SD) 16:9 format as of 1st August 2011. Other arrangements and fees apply for other formats.
All prior footage filmed in SD 4:3 will appear with black lines on either side of the footage. This is normal and is not an error in production.
6. Changes To Terms And Conditions
Changes to any of these “Terms And Conditions” can occur without notice at any time. It is the responsibility of the consumer to check for the latest updates and information in regards to this service. “Madman Productions” can not and will not be responsible if the latest information is not viewed from the website.
