2. Sample clips and advertising
** PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ AND UNDERSTAND THE INFORMATION IN REGARDS TO ALL SAMPLE CLIPS **
The information below applies for sample clips from October 20th 2007. Samples from previous meetings will not be adjusted to suit these changes.
As of January 2007, Madman may only produce samples of frequent customers, and/or one highlight sample and all the finals from each event.
Regulars can see all their full runs as part of the sample clip for their category from bracket meets and major meets only.
** Complete full run samples of all runs available for regulars via request only and ALL requests must be made before all bracket and major meets on all occasions. **
You must contact Madman before all bracket and major meets to acknowledge that footage will be purchased, you must pre-purchase your footage and you must have purchased footage on at least one other occasion. Contact Madman about the conditions in pre-purchasing footage.
Complete runs shot is available with the purchasing of footage. Enquire to find out what runs of your car/bike was shot or purchase an entire category (bracket and major meets only) or an event compilation (if available) for better value.
The quality of the sample clips does not reflect the quality of the footage you receive on DVD.
Sample clips are made at a reduced quality to reduce the size of the file and to reduce the costs involved with making the samples.

Files are ONLY available for download from the cacklingpipes server. There is no limit on sharing these clips with friends via email etc. The sale of these clips is not allowed as they are free sample clips. If you have been scammed into purchasing sample clips Madman will not be held responsible.
Please do not request for sample custom freebies. Only what is placed on the download page is available. If you would like your car/bike to be guaranteed a spot in a sample clip (one full run) you need to contact Madman requesting footage prior to a meeting and state you would like one of your runs in a sample.
The logos and "Sample" watermark on new sample clips in 07 will not appear on a purchased DVD.
However, a small Madman logo watermark appears on the bottom right corner of all DVDs as of January 1, 2007. New orders for all footage prior to this date will now also feature this watermark unless its a compilation DVD already made.

Advertising with Madman sample clips
Have your company and/or racing team advertised in a sample clip for all the racing world to see by sponsoring a category from each bracket attack or major meet.
According to site stats, some clips get hundreds of hits per month so that means by having your name on a sample clip it will be seen by people from all over the world
Sponsored categories will have all the runs filmed from a bracket attack or major meet as a sample clip(s). Some clips will still have half track runs
As a sponsor you will receive your advertisement at the beginning and end of each sample clip plus your choice of either a custom (DVD of just your car or bike) or bracket compilation DVD from the event category you choose to sponsor. Sponsorship/advertising is only valid for one meeting. You will need to apply for each meet.
Other normal conditions apply to sample clips as listed above.
