Madman Questions And Answers.

Here is a list of common questions and answers. More will be added over time.

Purchased DVDs

Q: Can I copy any DVD?

A: No. Footage remains the property of Madman Productions. The purchasing of more copies allows Madman to continue its services.

Q: Can I upload footage to the internet to use on a website etc?

A: No. But, with permission you can purchase a multimedia file made only by Madman to use on what you like.

Q: What happens if the disc I purchased doesn't work in my DVD player?

A: Try the disc in another player. Check the Madman conditions for more details.

Q: The DVD I purchased no longer plays in any player. Can I get a replacement.

A: Sure. You will need to pay for a replacement. Madman does not exchange DVDs 7 days after your purchase and does not exchange DVDs that have been damaged in any way within 7 days of your purchase.

Custom DVDs

Q: Can I have a DVD made however I want?

A: Yes. You can have a custom DVD made just the way you want it. Some standard features apply.

Q: Can I have footage I have taken mixed with Madman's footage.

A: Yes. Fees apply for the extra work involved.

Q: Can I have pictures mixed in with the footage.

A: Yes. You will need to provide the pictures as .jpg files. Madman will not use copyright material. You will need approval to use someone else's pictures.

Prices And Options

Q: How do I see the latest price list and options?

A: Email Madman and the latest list will be sent to you as an attachment

Q: I can not justify spending that amount of money for a custom DVD. It doesn't go for very long. How are your costs justified?

A: Madman spends quite a bit a time filming, editing and compiling your custom DVD. These can take anywhere from 1-2 hours to produce including searching for your footage before any commitment to purchase by you is made. The more information you can provide to Madman for your custom DVD, the easier and cheaper it will be to make.

Q: What options are there?

A: Contact Madman with what you want and Madman can advise you on what is available. There is too much to mention here.

Q: How can I get my footage cheaper?

A: You can have a whole season (or more) of runs on one DVD. Whilst this may end up looking expensive you will be saving hundreds of dollars. Pool up with other racers, purchase copies for everyone and share the costs. You can have up to 5 different race numbers on the one DVD.

A: Sure. Contact Madman. Conditions apply. You must be over 18 and provide I.D. if you are selected.
